• After 60+ days HV battery drains significantly and suddenly
Technical Description:
• Instrument cluster displays a sudden drain of 20% or more on a vehicle in
storage or after extensive period of inactivity
Status:
• Under Investigation
• Please submit a TA for any vehicle that exhibits a sudden battery drain after 30
days maintenance in dealer stock. Check the 12v battery system for low
voltage. Diagnose any and all relevant codes that may be stored in the vehicle.
Collect the BECM 40D2 data from pathfinder. When submitting a TA, include
the battery results and the Pathfinder session that contains the 40D2 data.
