HV Battery Cell Module Imbalance
Customer Voice:
• Vehicle may display a traction battery fault message on the Instrument cluster.
This may be accompanied by restricted performance and/or inability to charge
completely
Technical Description:
• HV Battery cell comparison codes may be stored for all 36 cell modules in the
BECM.
Status:
• Under Investigation
• When working with LTS on TAs/ EPQRs where LTS or Local Engineering
suspect Cell Module Imbalance, please include the HV battery maintenance
history with dates. If the vehicle is retailer stock, notate when the vehicle
entered your and at what State of Charge the HV Battery was upon arrival.
This is in addition to including the serial number on the HV Battery in your
submission
