Incorrect positioning of the semicircular cutout in the pad backing plate 2. Vibration behavior of brake caliper and brake linings Remedy: 1. Check installation position of brake linings as per SI42.10-P-0008A (see attachment "Model series 231 - FA - Installation of brake linings") If brake linings are found to have been installed incorrectly, proceed as follows: a) Install new brake linings (see parts ordering note) b) Mark installation position of old parts and make photographic record c) Create PTSS case with photos of brake linings 2. If the installation position of the brake linings corresponds to the specified position, replace the brake linings of the front axle (see parts ordering note) Note: The following must be observed when installing the brake linings (see attachment "Model series 231 - FA - Installation of brake linings"): • • The brake linings on the outside of the brake calipers must be installed with the semicircular cutout at the bottom. The brake linings on the inside of the brake calipers must be installed with the semicircular cutout at the top.
