A TAC ticket must be opened for any repairs related to the ceramic brakes.
Technical Background
In an effort to gain information, we are asking that you contact the Audi Technical Assistance Center (TAC) before
replacing any parts. This will assist us in diagnosing any potential issues with the condition noted above.
Production Solution
No changes to production have been made, as no issue has been identified.

Service
1. Verify the concern.
2. If the vehicle is within the New Vehicle Limited Warranty and complete the attached brake acoustic
questionnaire.
3. If the concern is noise-related, obtain a sound recording, and frequency analysis as per TSB 2051095.
4. Attach the completed questionnaire and sound recording to the TAC ticket. A sound recording is
necessary to help determine the root cause of the noise and to help resolve the concern.
5. Contact a TAC consultant before proceeding with any repairs.
