Cause Correction: If replacing the front crankshaft oil seal for an oil leak, perform the following diagnostic checks to avoid a repeat service visit. Check for current or history mis res in GDS2. Refer to bulletin 19-NA-122 "Rough Running Engine, Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) Illuminated - DTC P0300 Set" for compression and cylinder leakage checks to be sure that no piston damage has occurred as this can cause elevated crankcase pressures leading to engine oil leaks.
