Reason for block
Complaint:
Engine diagnosis warning lamp active - check engine light (CEL) on.
The fault code P052E71 is logged in the fault memory of the engine control unit.
Cause:
Investigations to date have not yet revealed the exact cause.
Possible cause:
The component or the electrical actuation at the partial load crankcase ventilation valve (Y58/2) may be faulty.
Remedy:
1) Check function and actuation of partial load crankcase ventilation valve (Y58/2) using Xentry Diagnostics (with AddOn 3507). Perform tests step for fault code.
If the actuation is successful and no component faults are found, perform the following work.
2) Erase fault memory and do not perform any further work. Release vehicle.
Otherwise open a PTSS case with all required information. The case will be forwarded to engineering for resolution.
