When this happens the body controller will need to be rebooted. This does not indicate that the body controller is defective. If the body controller can be rebooted, and the symptom(s) goes away, then the body controller should not be replaced. Also, before replacing a body controller, the original body controller should be rebooted, and retested to see if the symptom(s) have gone away. This can be done by either disconnecting the negative battery cables from the batteries, or disconnecting all the connectors, including the main power connector from the body controller.
