GENERAL MANAGER q PARTS MANAGER q q SERVICE INFORMATION BULLETIN APPLICABILITY: SUBJECT: NUMBER: 02-184-19 2019-20MY Ascent 2020MY Legacy and Outback Models with 2.4L DIT DATE: 12/03/19 Intake Duct Bolt Tightening / Torque Sequence INTRODUCTION: This Service Information Bulletin provides the proper tightening / torque sequence to follow when installing Intake Duct #3 onto the intercooler assembly. Following the sequence below will insure the bolts remain fully tightened. SERVICE PROCEDURE / INFORMATION: REMINDER: Customer satisfaction and retention starts with performing quality repairs. 3 IMPORTANT: Always install a new gasket (p.n. 21896AA150). Torque the 3 bolts to 16.1Nm (11.8 ft. lbs.) following the sequence shown in the illustration. 1 2 NOTE: The applicable Service Manuals will be updated with this information shortly.
