** SOLUTION **
Cause
Due to concerns about the effectiveness of the repair described in FSB 213-002,
recommendation for repair has been changed.
For Volvo Engines D11, D12, D13, D16 built from 01/01/1994 to present, a repair
procedure and new tools have been created to repair the exhaust rocker compression
brake pistons.
Solution
If the engine brake pistons in the exhaust rockers on a vehicle equipped with the Volvo
Engine Brake are found to be loose or backing out and unable to be tightened, leaking,
or otherwise damaged, they should be replaced. Repair should no longer be performed.
