The front seat belt webbing is twisted this is evident in both the stowed position and also when the seat belt is worn see Figure 1

Technical background
The plastic seat belt webbing guide, a plastic moulding incorporated in the seat belt upper ‘D’ loop assembly, may not have been fully clipped onto the
metal ‘D’ loop. When this is the case a twist in the seat belt webbing is possible

Measure
In the event of a twist being identified in a front seat belt then carry out the following check on that specific seat belt
1. Remove the rear quarter waistrail reference workshop manual Rear quarter waistrail – To remove and fit Rep Gr.70

2. Referencing figure 3 and 4 inspect the seat belt webbing plastic guide (A). Ensure the three clipping points (C) are securely clipped to the ‘D’
ring (B).
3. If the guide is not securely clipped then remove and discard the guide and fit a new replacement guide.
4. On completion the guide must be correctly secured to the ‘D’ ring paying close attention to both outer clipping features (C)
