Issue
Symptom:
Oil leaks from camshaft expansion plug.

Root Cause:
Existing temperature specification of the camshaft expansion plug is marginal for extreme
operating conditions.
Verification
Verify lubricating oil is leaking from the camshaft expansion plug.
Resolution
Apply Loctite™ 243, Part Number 4919200, or equivalent to the expansion plug edge and install
expansion plug. Refer to Procedure 007-003 in Section 7.
