AFFECTED VEHICLES: 2013 Outlander beginning December, 2012
2013 Lancer/Lancer Sportback beginning September, 2012
PURPOSE
Affected vehicles are no longer being shipped with front license plate hardware (rubber nut
and bolt package). Dealers are asked to use self-tapping screws for mounting the front
license plate. License plates should be installed in the locations indicated by dimples in the
front fascia. Dealers should use locally sourced, non-corroding, M6 fasteners, 15mm to 25
mm long. Fasteners should be installed using hand tools only.
Please do not submit any claims for missing front license plate hardware.

Rear license plate mounting screws will continue to be shipped in the glove box.
