CONDITION
On 2019-2020 model year Corolla Hatchback vehicles follow the recommendations when performing
the HVAC odor maintenance service using A/C Power Foam Evaporator Cleaner & Refresher.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Cover the area under the HVAC unit – Perform this step before HVAC evaporator cleaning process
is started.
1. Remove the trim components under the HVAC unit.
 Remove Front No.2 Console Box Insert (RM Step #4).
2. Cover the area under the HVAC unit and its
surroundings.
Hint: Recommend Industrial Absorbent Pads
to cover.
3. Perform the HVAC odor maintenance service using Toyota Genuine A/C Refresher Kit.
4. After performing HVAC odor maintenance service, wait 30 minutes before removing absorbent
material and reassembling the trim panels.
