PURPOSE
This bulletin advises that tire chains are NOT approved for use on any 2013 Mitsubishi vehicle.
AFFECTED VEHICLES
All 2013 models.
DESCRIPTION
Using tire chains on 2013 Mitsubishi vehicles (including the space saver spare) can cause damage due
to a lack of clearance from the tire to the suspension and/or body components. This information is
provided in Section 7 − Vehicle Care and Maintenance − Tire Chains of the Owner’s Manual.
Tire chains
! CAUTION
Tire chains cannot be used on your vehicle. The
clearance between the chains and the body is not
sufficient to allow proper clearance, and the vehicle
body might be damaged.
