Step 1) Refer to Elsa Pro and remove rear bumper cover. Step 3) Pull harness down and connect to module, Install speed nuts and thread bolts ¾ of the way. Mount the module to the inside of the fender well. (See reference image below for inside view) Step 2) Remove left rear body vent. Step 4) Connect white ground wire to chassis ground stud. Step 5) Remove body plug and pass the 4 pin trailer harness through. Using cable ties secure excess harness to the body. Step 6) lower the close out panel on the bottom of the right side of the dash, locate the can bus splice and make the connection if it is not already done. X Y Step 7) Use painters tape and cover the area to be cut out to prevent damage and to provide an area to draw out cutting area. Z Step 8) Locate center of lower portion of diffusor. Area X = 15mm down from the style line. Area Y = 158mm in both directions from center line. Area Z = 200mm down from the style line. Carefully cut out the section using suitable tools. Step 9) Using a deburring tool clean the edges of the cut out area. Step 10) Remove rear bumper support and install Trailer hitch receiver. Tighten the 4 mounting bolts. Route trailer harness and mount to hitch receiver bracket. Note: clean excess wax and sealer from bolt contact surface to ensure proper torque. Step 11) Reinstall rear bumper cover and other parts removed for installation. Step 12) Connect scan tool, scan vehicle, Select special functions, Adaption, selection option 4 (perform conversion retrofit with protection license).
