Customer states:
 The turn signal in the front bumper (only on the Q7) is cracked/broken, leaks or does not work (bulb warning is
displayed in the instrument cluster).
Or
 The turn signal in the rear bumper is cracked/broken, leaks or does not work (bulb warning is displayed in the
instrument cluster).
Technical Background
It is possible that the lamp may be damaged due to outside influence or forces applied to the lamp, bumper or
underbody panels.

1. Before replacing any
components inspect the
vehicle body and lamp(s) for
damage that relates to
outside influence (Figures 1 5).
Tip:
If necessary clean the parts
before inspection as small
cracks may be difficult to
detect.

2. If damage relating to outside influence or force is found, this is not a warranty concern as it is considered
consequential damage. In these cases, please explain the situation to the customer.
3. If there are no signs of outside influence, carry out standard diagnosis.
