Quattro Ultra software error.
Production Solution
New software in the all-wheel drive control module, J492 (address word 0022) addressed the condition.
Service
1. Check the software version number in the all-wheel drive control module, J492 (address word 0022) (Figure
1).

2. If the software version number is lower than 0006 update the software per the directions below.
