Service Technical Information 150/19 ENU 9110 9 Symptom in Vehicle Interior - Air Bubbles in Laminate of Front Display and Control Unit (PCM display): Subsequent Work on Dashboard (SY 150/19) Model line: Cayenne (9YA) Model Year: 2019 Subject: Front display and control unit (PCM display) Symptom: Air bubbles occur in laminate of front display and control unit (PCM display): Air bubbles in the PCM display (example) Cause: Due to insufficient gap dimensions, the dashboard can press sideways onto the front display and control unit (PCM display). Remedial In the event of a customer complaint, the top corners of the dashboard must be reworked. The front display and control unit (PCM display) must be replaced. Rework switch panel Information When working on the dashboard, make sure not to damage the surface in any of the visible areas. Work Procedure: 1 Shave a millimetre off the top left corner of the dashboard Reworking the top left corner of the dashboard -1- using a suitable tool (e.g. a round file).
