Cause DRL circuit #309, gray wire at X104 may have a poor connection due to a backed-out terminal or the wire being pulled too tight. Correction: If a vehicle comes in with the complaint of DRL inoperative intermittently, and it appears to be functioning normally inspect, connector X104 be sure to wiggle the connector and manipulate the harness in that area to see if it drops out. If so, separate the X104 body and check pin tment and wire integrity. If the DRL is inoperative test for voltage on circuit #309 terminals 5 at the headlamp. If no voltage inspect connector X104 for a backed-out or damaged terminal. If a damaged terminal is found, replace with terminated lead as noted in the Parts section.
