Issue
Symptom:
Broken capscrews found on the heat exchanger main support bracket to engine cylinder
block.
Root Cause:
Capscrew strength insufficient.
Verification
Verify heat exchanger main support bracket capscrews are broken.
Resolution
Higher grade capscrews are now available. Reference Service Instruction section below.
Service Instruction
Replace broken capscrews shown in location 1 and 2 in Figure 1 below with new higher grade
capscrews. Reference Table 1 below for applicable part numbers.
