 DTC P220100 (NOx Sensor Circuit Range/Performance Bank 1 Sensor 1, DFCC: 30867).
 DTC P220100 (NOx Sensor Circuit Range/Performance Bank 1 Sensor 1, DFCC: 27318).
 DTC P220100 (NOx Sensor Circuit Range/Performance Bank 1 Sensor 1, DFCC: 27319).
 DTC P220100 (NOx Sensor Circuit Range/Performance Bank 1 Sensor 1, DFCC: 26253).
 DTC P220100 (NOx Sensor Circuit Range/Performance Bank 1 Sensor 1, DFCC: 26255).
 DTC P220100 (NOx Sensor Circuit Range/Performance Bank 1 Sensor 1, DFCC: 27264).
Technical Background
Various parts have been replaced under warranty for the condition noted above, but no issues were identified with
these parts. In an effort to gain information on the DTC codes for the vehicles listed above, we are asking that you
contact the Audi Technical Assistance Center (TAC) before replacing any parts. This will assist us in diagnosing
any potential issues with the condition noted above.
Production Solution
No changes to production have been made, as no issue has been identified.

Audi of America is requesting your cooperation in supplying us with technical information regarding this
condition.
1. Verify the condition.
2. If the vehicle has had Campaign 23Z8 performed prior to the DTC (verify in ELSAPro), open a TAC WEB
ticket by selecting “I will wait for web response.” (Figure 1).

3. Please attach the DTC and diagnostic log to the TAC ticket. Additionally, attach a clear photograph of the
NOx sensor tip and document in the TAC ticket the exact part number of the removed NOx sensor.
4. If Campaign 23Z8 has not been performed, this repair authorization does not apply.
5. Replace the NOx Sensor #1 per the Elsa repair manual.
