SUBJECT:
Description: This bulletin describes the procedure to update the Shift Control Unit (SCU) for
Shift-by-Wire (SBW). The update is for MIL on and the following DTC: P106D00 (Actuator
initialization error), P106D71 (Actuator motor stuck error) and U110382 (SBW lever Alive counter
error).
Applicable Vehicles: 2020 Palisade (LX2) 3.8L vehicles

You must initially perform GDS SCU Update in Auto Mode.
 If the update starts but then fails in Auto Mode, perform the update in Manual Mode to
recover.
 Refer to the General Instructions found in TSB 15-GI-001 (GDS Mobile).
