Service Technical Information 64/20 ENU 0X00 0 Warranty Information: Extended Warranty for Tail Lights (64/20) Model Line: Cayenne (9YA) Model Year: As of 2018 up to 2019 Subject: Tail light - PART ID 9431 • • Situation: Outer tail lights (left and right) Tail light in rear lid Extended warranty for tail lights The warranty on the tail lights applies for four years as from the new vehicle delivery date or until the total mileage is 200,000 kilometers or 125,000 miles, depending on which comes first. You will find the exact warranty period of a vehicle in the vehicle information in the PCSS – Porsche Central Service System. The extended warranty is displayed as an additional new vehicle warranty scope and contains the added information "Ext. Warranty E3 Shining Line" in the "Coverage" column. The warranty applies worldwide and is always transferred automatically to the next owner. All other terms and conditions specified in the Warranty and Maintenance booklet remain unchanged. Overview of components covered by the warranty extension Information: PART ID Designation 9431 Tail light Scopes not covered by this warranty extension • All damage or malfunctions caused by other external influences such as damage as a result of an accident, incorrect use or neglect of the vehicle. • Slight visual defects on the tail lights ("shining line") in accordance with the damage assessment examples in Technical Information '943100 Complaint - Tail light has visual defects: Condition assessment (161/18)' • In the event of visual defects on the tail lights, always refer to Technical Information '943100 Complaint - Tail light has visual defects: Condition assessment (161/18)' to assess the tail light and determine whether it is covered under warranty even with the visual defect. Restrictions on cover of the extended warranty The warranty and service information in the vehicle includes information about the warranty conditions for the vehicle. The owner should always read these warranty conditions carefully as the rights and obligations listed there also apply for the extended warranty. Warranty E3 Shining Line", the claim must be entered by specifying Warranty type 111 under PART ID 9431 – Tail light as the component responsible for causing the problem.
