2020 F-53 Motorhome/F-59 Commercial Stripped Chassis, 2021 F-650/F-750/Eseries - Customer Configurable DRL - Vehicles Built Before 31-Mar-2020
Some 2020 F-53 Motorhome/F-59 Commercial Stripped Chassis, 2021 F-650/F750/E-series vehicles built before 31-Mar-2020 may have been equipped with
customer configurable daytime running lamps (DRL). The ability to disable
customer configuration of DRL is now available in IDS version 118.01 or higher if
the customer desires to keep the DRL always enabled. Once this optional
procedure is complete, DRL will no longer be configurable and permanently set to
on. Ensure the DRL feature is turned on in the IPC prior to performing this
process. There is no way to return the feature to customer configurable in the
instrument panel cluster (IPC) after this process is completed. Vehicles not
equipped with DRL or built after 31-Mar-2020 are not eligible for this procedure
under warranty. Do not submit claims on those vehicles.
