Complaint:
Wind noises in area of mirror triangle at front doors as of 120 km/h (75 MPH)
Cause:
Possible noise due to minimal thickness of sealing rail.
Remedy:
- Replace sealing rail
- Adjust side windows as per WIS specifications
If the above measures do not remedy the problem, create a PTSS case with the following content:
- Audio or video file with the problem noise
- Pictures of areas where wind noise is mitigated with tape
- Vehicle speed range at which problem occurs
- Description of measures already taken
