Service Technical Information 118/20 ENU 3708 3 Complaint - Selector Lever Position P is not Detected and the Driver's Key Cannot be Removed: Observe Specified Procedure (118/20) Model Line: Macan (95B) Model Year: As of 2014 up to 2020 Subject: Selector support Information: Selector lever position P is not detected and the driver's key cannot be removed. Remedial Action: Check the selector lever and carry out the required remedial measure. Parts required if necessary Parts Info: Part No. Designation Qty. 95B713132 Control unit for selector lever sensors 1 ea. 95B713059 Shift lever mechanism 1 ea. N 90887703 Hexagon flange nut 4 ea. Checking selector lever Work Procedure: 1 Check whether the selector lever is mechanically blocked. 1.1 Switch on the ignition. 1.2 Press the brake pedal. 1.3 Press the release button and pull the selector lever gradually from 'P' to 'D'. The display in the instrument cluster must change accordingly. 1.4 Release the brake pedal. 1.5 Swivel the selector lever from 'D' to 'M'. The display in the instrument cluster must change accordingly. 1.6 Move the selector lever from 'M' to 'Tip+'. The selector lever must return to its original position. 1.7 Move the selector lever from 'M' to 'Tip-'. The selector lever must return to its original position. 1.8 Swivel the selector lever from 'M' to 'D'. The display in the instrument cluster must change accordingly. 1.9 Press the brake pedal.
