Service Technical Information 10/20 ENU WLA6 4 WLA6 - Checking Rear Coil Springs and Replacing them if Necessary (Workshop Campaign) Model Line: Macan (95B) Model Year: 2019 Subject: Rear coil springs Information: There is a possibility that some of the surface coating on the rear coil springs was not applied according to specifications on the affected vehicles. As a result, the rear coil springs can become corroded over the service life of the vehicle. Remedial Action: Check surface coating on the rear coil springs and replace both coil springs if necessary. Affected Vehicles: Only vehicles assigned to the campaign (see also PCSS Vehicle Information). This campaign affects 2 vehicles in North America. Parts required Parts Info: No parts are required for checking the surface coating. Required tools Tools: • • Torque wrench, 40-200 Nm (30-148 ftlb.), e.g. VAG 1332 Torque wrench, 40-200 Nm (30-148 ftlb.) The VAS 6907 spring compressing system may be required for removing and installing the coil springs.
