Technical Background
Wipers may have an operational issue, which may occur in heavy rain. Faults may include but are not limited to
B12D600, U014100, U112100, U111000.
Service
Inspect the wiring for wiper relay 1 -J368- and wiper relay 2 -J369- at the under the hood relay panel. Test the
terminals by performing a pin drag test, including the connecting circuit between these relays (Figure1). If a terminal
issue is found for this connecting circuit, install a new connecting circuit, (Figure 2) with new terminals. See Repair
Group 97 in Elsa.
