Bulletin No.: PIP5754 Published date: 09/28/2020 Preliminary Information PIP5754 Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) Illuminated with DTC P262B Models Brand: Cadillac Model: CT6 Model Years: 2019 - 2020 VIN: from All to All Engine: 4.2L LTA Transmissions: All Involved Region or Country North America Condition Some customers may comment that the SES lamp is illuminated or was illuminated and turned o . During inspection Technician may nd DTC P262B (Control Module Power O Timer Performance) active or stored in history. Cause This condition may be caused by the engine cooling down quicker than what the ECM expects after the vehicle is shut o and then restarted. This can occur in a windy area or if pulled into an air-conditioned garage for example. Correction: If a vehicle comes in with this DTC set, do not replace the ECM for this condition. Engineering is aware of the condition and is working on a revised diagnostic calibration to address. Clear the code and release the vehicle back to the customer.
