Symptom/Vehicle Issue: Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) Illuminated, Diagnostic Trouble
Code (DTC) P2C90 - Crankcase Ventilation System - Hose "A" Disconnected or P04FC -Crankcase
Ventilation Performance
Customer complaint/ technician observation: Some customers may experience an
intermittent MIL illumination. Technician observed two stored codes setting intermittently DTC’s
P2C90 - Crankcase Ventilation System - Hose "A" Disconnected or P04FC -Crankcase Ventilation
Performance as stored.
Discussion: A preliminary inspection has not revealed any obvious issues. In some cases, the
condition appeared after a recent Mopar snorkel kit installation. Review all PCM related TSB’s that
may include PCM software updates for any of the above faults and update the PCM to the most
current software. Test the operation to complete.
