Eliminating Noise Symptoms - Replacing Rubber Stops on Front Hood (Creaking noise from
around the dashboard or A-pillar/SY0116)
General information
Revision:
This bulletin dated January 23, 2017 replaces bulletin dated April 6, 2016.

Model Year:
As of 2014 up to 2016
Symptom:
Creaking noises come from around the dashboard/A-pillar while driving.
Cause:
Material pairing between the buffers and rear rubber stops on the front hood results in creaking noises
from around the dashboard/A-pillar at the left and right.
Date of
Introduction:
From February 2, 2016 onwards, optimized rubber stops (new Part No. 95B.863.23x.A) are used during
production.
Remedial
Action:
In the event of a complaint, replace both rear rubber stops on the front hood with new rubber stops.

Unclip rubber stops  Replacing rubber stops on front lid -1- at the left and right using a screwdriver.
Clip new rubber stops  Replacing rubber stops on front lid -1- at the left and right into the front
hood.
