Due to the small number of Polestar Retailers it is likely that you will be delivering vehicles to out
of state customers. Please consult the local requirements in the state where the vehicle is being
registered for fitment of a front license plate.
Polestar 1
All Polestar 1 vehicles will be delivered to the Retailer with a front license plate bracket fitted. The bracket
is part of the vehicles low speed impact crash requirements and must be installed when the vehicle
is delivered to the customer. Polestar have provided a batch of ‘Polestar 1’ vanity plates to all retailers
which can be fitted in lieu of a front license plate for states that do not require one.
Polestar 2
All Polestar 2 vehicles will be delivered to the Retailer without the front license plate bracket
fitted. The plastic molded bracket will be provided in the trunk of each vehicle. Please consult with
the requirements in the state of registration and the customer prior to fitting the bracket. Do not
automatically fit the bracket at PDS in case the customer does not require it to be fitted.
