Model(s) Year VIN Range Vehicle-Specific Equipment A4, S4, A4 allroad, A5, A5 Cabriolet, A5 Sportback, S5, S5 Cabriolet, S5 Sportback, RS 5, RS 5 Cabriolet, and RS 5 Sportback 2020 All HUD Condition Customer states: The navigation directions shown in the head-up display (HUD) do not agree with the ones shown in the instrument cluster or on the MMI screen a. For example, the HUD shows a right turn while the instrument cluster and MMI show a left turn. Technical Background A software malfunction can cause the directions in the HUD to be displayed erroneously. Production Solution New software in the windshield projection head-up display control module, J898 (address word 0082) addressed the condition. Service SVM Update Instructions 1.
