The fuel gauge will drop a few miles after filling the tank.
Technical Description:

Tolerances between the sensor mount and calibration can result in this
condition.
Only the top of the fuel level range is affected.
Status:

Changes to the fuel tank hardware have been put into production at the supplier.
The revisions are within the original specification of the tank, so the part number
will not change.
An SSM will be published once the new tanks are in stock in the market which
will include the serial number which include the revisions.
Current service stock tanks can be used for any other service needs.
