DESCRIPTION
CAUTION: DO NOT turn the igintion OFF after dynamic aiming starts until aiming has completed or aiming
timeout. If the ignition is turned OFF, the VCM will store B14F0:76 and FSC aiming will not complete.
FSC dynamic aiming (mid-drive aiming) may not complete if the vehicle is driven on a road as described
below:



The road lane markings are covered by snow and are not visible.
There are no road lane markings on the road surface.
The road is winding and the vehicle cannot drive straight (300 m / 984 ft or more turning radius is
required).

FSC dynamic aiming is completed if the following conditions are met:
1. "Forward Sensing Camera Calibration Mode" message (1) on instrument cluster MID disappears.
2. The i-ACTIVSENSE warning light (2) turns off.
3. Steps 1 and 2 are completed within 20 minutes from start of aiming.
NOTE:



FSC dynamic aiming mode is finished after 20 minutes due to time limit, regardless of aiming
completion.
If FSC dynamic aiming cannot complete or the "FSC in calibration mode" message returns, perform
FSC static aiming.
If FSC aiming is unsuccessful and DTC B14F0:76 is stored, disconnect the negative battery
terminal or related fuse and connect it again after 10 seconds.
 Did DTC B14F0:76 clear?
 YES: Perform FSC dynamic aiming.
 NO: Replace the FSC then perform FSC dynamic aimingagain.
CAUTION: Perform the dynamic aiming with the sensor cover installed after a windshield replacement in
order to reduce noise interruption.
