Introduction Some 2014 – 2019 model year Highlander vehicles may exhibit a vibration from the front brakes during light application of the brake pedal at highway speeds. Follow the Repair Procedure in this bulletin to address this condition. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle’s in-service date. Road-test the vehicle to confirm the condition exists. Is front brake vibration present during light brake pedal application at highway speeds? YES — Continue to step 2. NO — This bulletin does NOT apply. Continue diagnosis using the applicable Repair Manual. 2. Remove the front brake pad and disc on the right and left sides. Refer to TIS, applicable model and model year Repair Manual: 2014 – 2019 Highlander: Brake – Brake (front) – “Brake (front): Front Brake: Removal” 3. Install the NEW front brake pad kit and disc on the right and left sides. Refer to TIS, applicable model and model year Repair Manual: 2014 – 2019 Highlander: Brake – Brake (front) – “Brake (front): Front Brake: Installation” NOTE Make sure to follow the torque/star pattern in the Repair Manual when installing the front wheels. 4.
