Symptom/Vehicle Issue: Check Engine Lamp On, P1300 Crankshaft Position Learn Out of
Range And P0300 Multiple Cylinder Misfire
Customer Complaint/Technician Observation: Customer complaint check engine lamp
turns on within the cluster intermittently. Technician observed two codes, P1300 Crankshaft Position
Learn Out of Range and P0300 Multiple Cylinder Misfire.
Repair Procedure: With both DTC’s setting, inspect the harness connector at the crankshaft
position sensor for any signs corrosion and to ensure that the connector is secure Fig 1, 2.
