Power Window Main Switch- Design Change
INTRODUCTION:
This bulletin announces a design change made to the power window main switches used in the
models listed above. The size of the shaft inside the pivot point for the switch’s operation knob has
been increased to enhance its durability. If the knob becomes loose or difficult to operate, replace the
switch assembly.
PRODUCTION CHANGE INFORMATION:
The new switches were incorporated into production starting with the following VINs:
•
Forester: LH441037
•
Crosstrek: L8202435
This bulletin will be revised with the starting VINs for Legacy, Outback, Impreza and Ascent models
when they become available.

to the applicable Service Manual and review the full requirements of the repair being performed. The

first time, every time. This includes but is not limited to important SAFETY precautions, proper
inspection criteria, necessary special tools, required processes and related one-time-use parts needed
for a complete and lasting repair.
