TT8745EN January 06, 2021 Page 1 of 1 SUBJECT: Cooler Line Connections at Radiator — Freightliner M2 Chassis MODELS AFFECTED: Freightliner M2 Chassis with Behr/Mahle Cooling Modules Description of Concern: Low transmission fluid level condition in Freightliner M2 chassis. Potential Cause: Transmission fluid leak at OEM-installed cooler line connections to transmission cooler at vehicle radiator. Action: For Freightliner M2 chassis with an Allison transmission, if transmission fluid loss is a concern and inspection of the transmission cooler line connections at the vehicle radiator reveals evidence of transmission fluid leakage, refer to Freightliner Service Bulletin 20–086 for important information related to inspection and repair of the subject condition. Please note that repair work to resolve leakage at the transmission cooler is not the responsibility of Allison Transmission, and therefore is not warrantable by Allison Transmission.
