Service Technical Information 185/20 ENU WLG9 5 WLG9 Workshop campaign - Replacing lower part of front lid lock Revision: This bulletin replaces bulletin Group 5 185/20 WLG9, dated January 25, 2021. Model Year: As of 2019 up to 2021 Model Line: 718 Boxster (982)/Cayman (982) 911 (991) 911 (992) Concerns: Lower part of front lid lock Information: A bowden cable that does not meet the required specifications was installed on lower part of the front lid lock on the affected vehicles and this can crack over the service life of the vehicle. If this happens, the front lid cannot be unlocked and must then be opened using the emergency release. Remedial Action: Replace lower part of front lid lock. Affected Vehicles: Only vehicles assigned to the campaign (see also PCSS Vehicle Information). There are 12,001 vehicles affected by this campaign.
