Subject:
Fuel supply line in the engine compartment
Information:
Due to a weakness in the quick connector component on the fuel supply line, the leak-tightness
of the quick connector may not be guaranteed at very high engine compartment temperatures
on affected vehicles.
As a result, fuel may leak from the quick connector on the fuel supply line, which can be perceived as an
odor.
Remedial
Action:
Replace fuel supply line in the engine compartment.
Affected
Vehicles:
Only vehicles assigned to the campaign (see also PCSS Vehicle Information). This campaign affects
2,178 vehicles in North America.

Start the engine and wait until it cuts out.

quick connector from the fuel connection

Collect escaping fuel.

When installing the fuel supply line, make sure to install the
