Symptom/Vehicle Issue: Check Engine Light On, U0422-00 Implausible Data
Received From Body Control Module Is Active In The HCP
Discussion: The check engine light may be illuminated. Upon scanning the vehicle
DTC U0422-00 Implausible Data Received From Body Control Module Is found Active
in the HCP (Hybrid Control Processor).
Diagnosis: The DTC diagnostic procedure for the PIM (Power Inverter Module) should
be used. This will lead to BCM Communication Diagnostic Procedure being performed.
Follow the diagnostic procedure.
Repair: If after performing the diagnostic procedure and replacing the BCM the U042200 is still active. Do Not Replace Any Other Components. This issue is being
investigated by engineering.
