PURPOSE
Customers may experience difficulty closing the glove box and securing the door in a closed
position. The hook side of the locking mechanism may not properly latch when pushing the
glove box door closed from the front. Over time improper closure and latching may create a
deformity and as a result, the glove box may become more difficult to close.
In November 2020, the shape of the claw edge of the glove box locking mechanism was
changed permitting easier glove box closure.
This TSB instructs dealers to replace the glove box latch upon complaint basis.
