Bumper height alignment. This is caused by improper Hood Latch and The Hood Latch and Bumper Height must be adjusted to resolve this condition. Please refer to the procedure below. (5077) Page 2 of 4 TSB-21-42A-001 PROCEDURE Hood Latch Adjustment 1. Remove the Upper Bar Cover (secured with 10 clips): 2. Remove the Latch Cover (secured with 2 bolts): 3. Loosen 2 bolts which secure the Latch to the Body and move Latch down to its lowest position. Page 3 of 4 TSB-21-42A-001 4. Fasten 2 bolts with fixing torque 22Nm and loosen by 1 revolution. a. b. c. d. Drop the Hood from the height of 100mm for the for centering of the Latch. Open the Hood and fasten 2 bolts with fixing torque 19 -22Nm to secure the Latch. Install the Latch Cover with 2 bolts, fixing torque 4 -6Nm. Install the Upper Bar Cover with 10 clips. Hood Bumper Rubber Adjustment 1. Adjust the height of Bumper Rubbers (passenger and driver sides) as shown below. a. The height of the front side of the Bumper Rubbers should be measured. b. When turning the Bumper Rubbers 90o clockwise, the height decreases 1 mm.
