When checking the vehicle for DTC's, the following may be set:
Condition
ECM: P0700 and/or P2535
TCM: P2535
BSCM: P2535
IPC: U300D
These concerns may be more likely to occur after using the remote vehicle start.
The cause of this concern could be the BCM ignition 1 relay (KR73) driver remaining
energized after the ignition is turned o .
Cause
This will apply power to circuit 5199 for the KR73 ignition main relay, keeping it
energized even though the ignition is o , example Document ID: 5430865.
Correction:
Follow normal SI diagnostic procedures for DTC P2535 and if it is found that the BCM is keeping power on circuit
5199 after the ignition is turned o , then replace the BCM.
