WMD1 - Performing PCM Software Update (Workshop Campaign)
Important:
CRITICAL WARNING - This campaign includes steps where control unit(s) in the vehicle will be
programmed with the PIWIS Tester. The vehicle voltage must be maintained between 13.5 volts and 14.5
volts during this programming. Failure to maintain this voltage could result in damaged control unit(s).
Damage caused by inadequate voltage during programming is not a warrantable defect. The technician
must verify the actual vehicle voltage in the PIWIS Tester before starting the campaign and also document
the actual voltage on the repair order.

Porsche Communication Management (PCM) 4.0
Information:
Due to a change in the interface for providing the satellite map data for Porsche Communication Management (PCM), the satellite map view will no longer be available in Navigation on
the affected vehicles.
Action required: Perform PCM software update to restore the satellite map view.

Information
If the vehicle is affected by the Workshop Campaign WG47 and it has not yet been carried out on the
vehicle, this must be performed before the software update WMD1.

be ordered in a small number (max. 2 per required variant per Porsche dealer). The SD memory cards
must remain in the Porsche dealer as part of the workshop equipment and must not be handed over to the
customer or left in the vehicle.

Please note:
