Description: Some 2021 Elantra (CN7a) rear combination lamp turn signal light bulbs may prematurely
become inoperative. This bulletin describes the procedure to replace the rear combination lamp turn
signal light bulbs for both the right and left side.

NOTE 1: Submit Claim on Campaign Claim Entry Screen.
NOTE 2: If a part is found in need of replacement while performing the repair for this TSB, and the
affected part is still under warranty, please submit a separate claim using the same Repair Order. If the
affected part is out of warranty, submit a prior approval request for goodwill consideration prior to
performing the work.
NOTE 3: Please note that op code is for replacement of bulbs on both sides.
Service Procedure:
1.
Open the trunk to access the rear combination
lamp assembly.
2.
Remove the rear combination lamp cover.

REAR COMBINATION LAMP TURN SIGNAL BULBS REPLACEMENT
3.
Remove the three 10mm nuts.
4.
Carefully remove the rear combination lamp
assembly.
Remove and replace the turn signal light bulb.
5.
Reinstall all parts in reverse order of removal.
6.
Perform the same procedure to the other side to
replace the turn signal bulb.
7.
Confirm the turn signal of both the left and right
sides are operating normally.
