1. Refer to the Troubleshooting and checklist guide shown in this instruction to verify if a Kitchen
slideout repair is required.

VISUAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR KITCHEN SLIDEOUT REPAIR
1. Refer to the slideout print shown below to verify locations of the kitchen SLO control and the slideout
motor. Object 1 shows the placement of the kitchen SLO control and object 2 shows the placement of
the slideout motor. The black line illustrates where the wire runs to and from these locations.

2. Fig 1 to the right is a diagram which explains
the coloring of each wire connected to
slideout control relay.
3. Remove slideout motor access plate shown in Fig 2
and check voltage with DC Volt Meter. It is
important to test the voltage during operation. The
voltage should read between 11 and 12 volts. If the
values observed are lower, repair needs performed
starting in step 4.
Repair Required
4. Review slideout print shown in Fig 3. The 10 AWG
wire will need to be removed and replaced with a 6
AWG wire. Add loom to wire where required to
provide wire protection.

install a 30 amp
breaker with two
6 AWG #10 Ring
terminal eyelets
in bed box area
to ensure circuit
protection for
kitchen slideout
relay.

for the existing
stand-off

7. Refer to the arrows
for the placement
of the Kitchen
slideout relay and
the 30 amp
breaker in the bed
box shown in Fig 4.
8. Retest for required
voltage at slideout
motor access plate
for the 11 to 12
volts during
extending and
retracting of
slideout operation.
This process will
help run the
slideout in/out
normally.
