Classification: Reference: AT21-002 Date: NTB21-032 April 21, 2021 2021 ROGUE; WARNING LIGHTS FLASHING ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL WITH DTC P18A5 STORED APPLIED VEHICLES: 2021 Rogue (T33) IF YOU CONFIRM The Electric Shift Control System and the Electronic Parking Brake System warning lights are ON, with DTC P18A5 (AUTO PARK FUNCTION CANCEL) stored. Electric Shift Control System warning light Electronic Parking Brake System warning light ACTION 1. Configure the TCM and ABS control unit (see Service Procedure on page 2). 2. Clear DTCs. IMPORTANT: The purpose of ACTION (above) is to give you a quick idea of the work you will be performing. You MUST closely follow the entire SERVICE PROCEDURE as it contains information that is essential to successfully completing this repair. Qualified technicians are properly trained individuals who have the equipment, tools, safety instruction, and know-how to do a job properly and safely. See your Nissan dealer to determine if this applies to your vehicle. 1/10 SERVICE PROCEDURE 1. Turn ON the hazard warning flasher lamps. 2. Start CONSULT-III plus (C-III plus) and select Diagnosis (All Systems). Figure 1 3. Verify the VIN is correct and then select Confirm. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Figure 2 2/10 NTB21-032 4. Select TRANSMISSION. Figure 3 5. Select CGW Information, and then CGW Open. Figure 4 3/10 NTB21-032 6. Login to NNA Federation. Figure 5 7. Confirm that the CGW Information icon is green. Figure 6 4/10 NTB21-032 8. Select Work support. Figure 7 9. Select CANCEL AUTOMATIC PARK FUNCTION, and then Start. Figure 8 5/10 NTB21-032 10. Select ON. Figure 9 11. Confirm that CANCEL AUTOMATIC PARK FUNCTION is “Off”, and then select End. 12. Select the Back button. Figure 10 6/10 NTB21-032 13. Confirm that P18A5-00 is no longer present, and then select ABS. This DTC should not be listed Figure 11 14. Select Work support. Figure 12 7/10 NTB21-032 15. Select SYSTEM MODE CHANGE, and then Start. Figure 13 16. Select Off. Figure 14 8/10 NTB21-032 17. Confirm that the Current status is “Off”, and then select End. 18. Select the Back button. Figure 15 19. Erase all DTCs.
