Classification: AT13-003 Reference: Date: NTB13-047 April 23, 2013 2012-2013 TITAN AND NV; DTC U0100 AND P1705 SET WHILE IN STORAGE MODE APPLIED VEHICLES: 2012 – 2013 Titan (A60) 2012 – 2013 NV (F80) APPLIED TRANSMISSION: With column shift only SERVICE INFORMATION When in “Extended Storage Mode” the applied vehicles can set DTCs U0100 and P1705, if the ignition switch is left in the accessory position for longer than 2 seconds. NOTE: These DTCs can reoccur every time the above conditions are met. These DTCs can occur due to the “Extended Storage Switch” (ESS), in the interior fuse panel, being pulled out (Storage Mode active) and those related systems being temporarily without power. If these DTCs occur due to the above condition, it does not indicate that there is anything wrong with the vehicle. NOTE: Refer to NTB10-124 for further information on Extended Storage Mode. If these DTCs occur: ¾ If the Extended Storage Mode is currently active (ESS pulled out) and it is the intent to keep the vehicle in Extended Storage Mode, clear these DTCs. No further action is needed. ¾ If the Extended Storage Mode is currently active and it is not the intent to keep the vehicle in Extended Storage Mode, switch to “Customer Delivery Mode” by pushing the ESS in, and then clear the DTCs. No further action is needed. ¾ If the Extended Storage Mode is not currently active (ESS pushed in), clear the DTCs and then check if they immediately reoccur. If they reoccur, further diagnostics are needed. NOTE: If these DTCs will not clear, further diagnostics may be necessary. Refer to the appropriate section of the Electronic Service Manual (ESM) for additional diagnostics and repair information. Nissan Bulletins are intended for use by qualified technicians, not 'do-it-yourselfers'. Qualified technicians are properly trained individuals who have the equipment, tools, safety instruction, and know-how to do a job properly and safely. NOTE: If you believe that a described condition may apply to a particular vehicle, DO NOT assume that it does. See your Nissan dealer to determine if this applies to your vehicle. 1/1
